Thundersnow watch

January 11, 2017 // 1:04 pm stormy weather

With a severe weather warning in place for over Strathclyde today, tomorrow and Friday, we’ll be out in force to get you where you need to go – dry, warm and safe.

The Yellow warning of wind and snow, issued by the MET office warns there could be 2-5 cm of snow at lower levels and 10-20 cm on ground above 200m to 300m as well as gusts of up to 55mph! AND if that wasn’t enough many are using the term “thundersnow” to describe the combination thunder and snow coming to batter Glasgow this week.

Therefore, we recommend if you have any plans for the next couple days – which you don’t want to turn up for looking like a drowned rat, clutching your inside out umbrella, you can book your taxi in advance by calling 0141 959 1212 or booking online.
